Who Is In Your Inner Circle?
I thought I would leave you this friday, with my new found favorite comic strip to support this post, from my new found friend Tracy Hurst. On Tuesday’s with Tracy she discusses having the occasional friend check. She says: “Once a year I do what I call a “friend check.  *The truth is: If these “friends†are talking about others with you, then they are talking about you with others!” Check out the rest of her post here, and you will see how it is fitting to this week’s comic by Kerri Pomarolli!

How funny! It is so true - we often find creative ways to spread gossip and even attach God’s name to it! Lord help us! I love these comic strips!

Oh this is SO TRUE!! I have been in so many circles where this was the “norm” and I’ve been guilty of this before in my life. It’s so important that we treat what we “know” or “think we know” with care. Great reminder.

I completely agree. The only reason I’d talk about someone negatively about them is if they directly hurt me. I wouldn’t have the guts to confront the guilty party.
I prefer to tell God stories to encourage folks who are believing for a baby, or a husband, or a job change. However, I promised myself this year that I would tell people directly when they’ve been condescending or disrespectful instead of venting behind their back. So far it’s worked out GREAT.
