I really needed this today! Last night I was talking w/my hubby about our financial 'plan' and expressing my panic. I keep hearing about rising food costs and gas prices yet I want to feed my family in a healthy way and visit my family elsewhere in the state. He tells me not to worry, but sometimes that just makes me internalize it more. We're not poor but we're not rich. We are blessed in many ways but sometimes I feel we are behind the game b/c we don't have much of a future financially. At any rate - thank you! It's always like getting bumped on the head when I think of how VALUABLE I am to God. None of the other stuff matters...He can do all things, His plan for our lives cannot be thwarted. We only speak of things we do not know, things too wonderful to imagine! (Job 42:2-3)

I love this story. I was having a really down day when you called and told me about this. So I vote that you were faithful in sharing Gods goodness.

I have a friend right now, she and her husband worked really hard on renovating a house and they lost it. It went up on the auction block this week. Yet she's at peace. She called me to say that she felt comfortable in telling me that she actually believed that God was taking them through something and she knew I wouldn't judge them for believing that.

She has your personality so she's a fighter not a quitter. I can't wait to hear her story too.
