Can't believe that Anna is moving into a big girl bed! We did exactly the same thing with Zach. Start out trying at nap time that way bedtime is still peaceful. Zach would sleep in the big boy bed in the day, but wasn't so sure of it at night. Then after 2 weeks or so he slept in the big bed at night. All was well. We then put in place the rule that you could not get out of bed unless you had to go potty and then you still had to tell us. Zach still is good about letting us know when he is getting up for something. There are some mornings I wish he wasn't though. He is such an early riser.
